ABOUT

We’ve been where you are.

Grandeur Music is an artist management and development company founded by Gil Grand and Jake Mathews, two people who’ve spent their lives in music as artists, songwriters, producers and managers. We’ve written the songs, sat in the studio at 2 a.m., and played the rooms and festivals. We’ve also handled the contracts, the deadlines and the business side nobody warns you about.

Every path is different. We partner with artists to build sustainable careers through strategic management, creative leadership and a long-term vision shaped around their goals, always staying true to who they are.

We start with great songs, build real relationships, make thoughtful decisions and stay committed to the artist. That’s how careers last.

What we do

Artist Management

We’re in your corner day to day. We handle strategy, bookings, partnerships and the business details so you can focus on the music.

Artist Development

We help you find your sound, sharpen your songs and get stage-ready. That means co-writes, production, live prep and a clear plan for where you’re headed.

TYSON RANGER

Some artists write songs about hard work. Tyson Ranger lives it.

Growing up in Sudbury, Ontario, Tyson started working underground in the mines at 18. He still works a 14-days-on, 14-days-off rotation, writing and recording on his days off. Country music was always the dream, and he’s chasing it with the same grit that gets him through a shift thousands of feet below the surface.

He learned guitar at seven by playing classic country songs by Merle Haggard, Keith Whitley and George Strait alongside his family. Today, his own sound blends those traditional roots with the big melodies and studio polish of 1980s country the way Ronnie Milsap and Steve Wariner made it. Tyson calls it Miami Vice Country.

He’s opened for Jade Eagleson, The Reklaws and Owen Riegling, and he’s now recording in Nashville, with new music on the way.
